In 1990, our son Gabriel was born missing bones in his arms and his legs are fused at the knee. Our life was drastically changed. Not how most people would think, however. Our life has been enriched with an amazing journey of helping Gabe live a full life.

When Gabe's first wheelchair cost $20,000 family and friends and perfect strangers raised money to help us purchase his chair and a wheelchair accessible van. We established our nonprofit organization as a way to pay that generous gift forward.

Gabriel's Foundation of HOPE was established in 2007 to help individuals and families dealing with disability by encouraging them to persevere and overcome their challenges. Our Just a Little Hope program provides gift cards to families in need of financial assistance. We provide grants and scholarships to individuals in need. Our inspiration program shares a life-changing CLEAR message of HOPE. Gabe Murfitt shares his inspirational story to thousands of students each year.

In 2012, Gabriel's Foundation of HOPE published an inspirational book by Gabe Murfitt with Gigi Devine Murfitt.
